LAA's Work

During the short history of the LAA the list of accomplishments is remarkable, including scholarships for needy Lebanese students in the Bay Area, funds for universities, medical clinics, and hospitals in Lebanon. The association makes it a top priority to preserve the Lebanese culture, by bringing its people together at social functions, charitable events and keeping all of them informed through the Newsletter and website.

• Provided scholarship funds for needy Lebanese students
• Donated funds to the American University of Beirut and the University of Balamand
• Donated funds to clinics and hospitals in Lebanon
• Sent medical supplies with a retail value in excess of $5,000,000 to Lebanon Developed a fund to establish a Lebanese Cultural Center.
