Part Time - LAA Office Manager - Burlingame, CA

The Lebanese American Association (LAA) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization serving the Lebanese American Community since 1989. It is involved in cultural and philanthropic services. Its board of directors meets monthly and holds several functions and fund raisers each year to benefit the community.

Basic Function:

Office Manager is a key member of the LAA team who will work under the Direction of the LAA President, coordinate office administrative functions, events, promotions, communications among Board of directors, members and the community responsible for growing the LAA member base as well as conducting other marketing and community programs targeting key constituencies ranging from signing up new members, coordinate with volunteers and material donors, maintain and update databases and manage accounts receivable and payable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:
 
  • Knowledge of administrative & marketing principles, practices, tactic and tools
  • University Graduate or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing programs and promotions
  • History and ability to represent organization to key members & external audiences
  • Design and media production of newsletter online, web and print
  • Proven track record of planning and implementing successful communications, programs, including lead generation, customer and market research


Skills:
 
  • Very familiar with the Lebanese culture
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills –Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Goal oriented self starter and manager
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Adobe suite is a bonus.
  • Comfortable with independent and collaborative decision-making
  • Able to identify and use LAA resources to apply data in program development
  • Team player able to motivate teams to collectively accomplish objectives

Flexible schedule: 4 -10 hours /week – with opportunity to expand

Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with experience
* $14 - $24 / Hour based on qualifications - - or base + incentive
